A Girl Like Me empowers middle and high school girls to embrace their worth, build confidence, and discover their full potential. Through mentorship, sisterhood, and purposeful programs, we equip young women with the tools to overcome challenges, make positive choices, and create bright futures.

About Me
Hi, I’m Kierra Taylor, the founder of A Girl Like Me. I started this program because I know firsthand the power of having role models, encouragement, and a safe space where girls can be seen, heard, and uplifted.
My mission is simple: to remind every young woman of her value and potential. When girls are equipped with confidence, life skills, and a strong support system, they can rise above challenges and boldly create the future they dream of.
A Girl Like Me is more than mentorship — it’s a sisterhood. Here, girls know they are loved, capable, and never alone. Together, we build confidence, purpose, and connections that last a lifetime.
Mentorship Circles
The Girl Like Me mentorship group has taught me patience and that one person’s actions doesn’t mean I have to build a wall against everyone else. I’ve learned that it’s okay to trust and open up, not by sharing everything but just enough to grow and heal from it.

Sisterhood Activies
The sisterhood sleepover was filled with laughter, late-night conversations, and cozy moments that brought everyone closer together. We shared stories, created TikToks, and stayed up way too late, enjoying each other's company and having a great time together.
